An Account Manager / Client Strategist at SimplyBe. creates the long-term relationships with our most important audience: our clients. A successful Account Manager possesses maturity, demonstrates strategic thinking, collaborates across the organization and proactively offers solutions when challenges arise (we don’t have problems – we have opportunities).

The Account Manager / Client Strategist will report directly to the Director of Client Relations to ensure all deliverables and processes are carried out in the best interests of our clients. You will have ownership of your assigned client accounts and foster the relationships so they cannot live without us. You will execute day-to-days management and operations of both retainer and project based work for your portfolio.

What you’ll do:

  • Build long-lasting relationships with assigned accounts and internal departments to create an optimal client experience
  • Ensure the successful delivery of all project and retainer work according to established timelines
  • Contribute to, shepherd and ultimately deliver for clients: strategic decks, blogging, email marketing, podcasting, video, social media, websites, etc.
  • Ensure that all SimplyBe. deliverables reflect the client’s established tone/voice and adhere to editorial best practices; though not a Content Specialist the Account Manager is expected to be a strong communicator and writer
  • Glean insights from client interactions and organizational data and track that against determined objectives to optimize and pivot strategic direction as needed in order to hit client goals
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally with all employees at SimplyBe. to ensure top quality work is always delivered to clients
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for growth, suggest improvements to process flow as appropriate
  • Through ongoing interaction with the clients and collaboration with agency team members, identify additional opportunities to provide service and extend the relationship within your accounts
