How a clear message, a sharp personal brand strategy and a cohesive visual brand allowed this corporate VP to build and launch her own platform.

When Erin Coupe first came to SimplyBe., she had a corporate job, a strong network and a clear vision of what she wanted next. 

But she had a lack of clarity around how to get there. 

Our work with Erin was two-fold. First, our goal was to increase her visibility and awareness inside her corporate commercial real estate firm, CBRE. This work was intended to support her in building her own book of business and to establish a platform to drive client acquisitions and quality networking opportunities.

She too, however, had a long term goal of becoming an entrepreneur and sought after speaker in the female empowerment and leadership space. We were therefore tasked with the challenge to create a brand identity and strategy that not only served her short term goals, but also her long term vision for her career.

Through SimplyBe.’s Thought Leader Strategy, our team created a comprehensive personal brand identity for Erin, as well as a marketing strategy and tactical execution plan to build thought leadership on LinkedIn—the primary channel where her target audiences were found. This execution plan included original long form blogging and strategic posting tailored to LinkedIn’s unique algorithm. We also provided Erin with visual brand guidelines and an original logo design, PR and marketing collateral, and ongoing newsletter development support.

Erin meticulously followed the strategy we built for her and laid the groundwork for what would ultimately become her next venture. Her thought leadership blogs brought heightened visibility to both her personal brand and CBRE. Over the course of 12 months, SimplyBe. partnered with Erin to write over 20 blogs that garnered 10K+ views and earned her a loyal following and highly engaged network on LinkedIn.
